EXIF info view & clear

Reads the camera, lens, shutter aperture, and GPS coordinates from a photo; before sharing, strip the whole metadata block in one click — pixels untouched, quality unchanged.

🔒
Parsing and removal are done on this device; files are never uploaded. "Clear metadata" is not recompression: for JPEG it strips SOS pixel bytes after it are copied wholesale as-is; the PNG is an untouched copy IDAT chunk —— Not a single pixel byte is changed, so there is no quality loss or size change. After clearing, this page re-parses the output file and lists any leftover fields as proof.

Multi-select · parses JPEG / PNG; for other formats it will clearly tell you why they are not supported
JPEG drops APP1(EXIF/XMP), APP13(IPTC), COM comments and GPS; PNG drops the entire eXIf / tEXt / iTXt / zTXt / tIME blocks. JFIF, ICC color profiles and the quantization/Huffman tables needed for decoding are kept, so the file stays a valid

How to use

  1. Drop in a JPEG or PNG photo
  2. Inspect camera model, settings, GPS and timestamps
  3. Clean metadata and download — the page re-parses the output to prove nothing remains

FAQ

Does cleaning affect quality?
No. Pixel data is copied verbatim without re-encoding, so quality and dimensions stay identical.
